When should I get Pre Approved?
You should begin the pre-approval process about a week or two before you're ready to start seriously home shopping and potentially making offers to buy. Because we will be documenting your qualifications such as employment, income and assets, pre-approvals are valid for 120 days until needing to be updated. Also, your credit will be run and your application along with verification documents will be reviewed by our underwriters who approve your loan except for property-specific items. Then, once you have found a home, we'll review the sale contract, title work and appraisal then get your loan ready to close quickly.
