Harding Academy for high school and the University of Memphis to complete my bachelor’s degree. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Memphis in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts. My majors were Foreign Languages with a concentration in Spanish and English with a concentration in English as a Second Language. I planned to teach, but I quickly realized that path was not for me and began a banking career.

I started as a teller with a community bank in Desoto County, MS. During my time there, I moved up through the ranks from Teller to Customer Service Representative to Lending Assistant. An opportunity came up to work for the mortgage division of a local bank in Memphis, where I learned a great deal as a Mortgage Processor under the leadership of Travis & Derek. I was excited to rejoin them as an Underwriter with Local Mortgage in November 2020; Local Mortgage already has an established team of hard-working, experienced individuals. I am excited to be a part of the team! Even though I do not communicate with customers or assist customers directly as an Underwriter, my goal is to make their experience with Local Mortgage as pleasant and painless as possible while also adhering to agency guidelines.

When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying time with my husband and daughter at the Memphis Zoo, catching a movie, or cheering on a local sports team. We love going to University of Memphis football and basketball games, Memphis Grizzlies basketball games, and 901 FC soccer matches!
