Local Mortgage Hosts Mortgage Payment Giveaway for GMSD Faculty & Staff

Local Mortgage had the honor of participating in the Germantown Municipal School District's (GMSD) annual Back to School Kickoff Event!

We got the opportunity to connect with GMSD faculty and staff, as well as other local vendors. We were able to answer questions about the home buying process, give advice to current homeowners, and help GMSD employees prepare for a successful school year!

We hosted a Back to School Home Payment Giveaway for GMSD faculty and staff to show them how much they are appreciated. Participants were asked to sign up online via a QR code, and if they were chosen as the randomly-selected winner, we would pay their next mortgage payment up to $2,500!

Faculty and staff at GMSD thought this Home Payment Giveaway could really make a difference in someone's life. At the start of each school year, teachers are expected to purchase all the supplies needed for their classroom out of their own budget. This can take a toll on teachers. Not having to worry about your mortgage payment one month can take a huge weight off someone's shoulders.

Our randomly-selected winner for this giveaway was Kelsey Holland, a teacher at Forest Hill Elementary School. She was thrilled that she won the giveaway and looks forward to participating in future Local Mortgage events.
